Canberra Grammar School provides a secure, supportive and happy boarding environment for boys Years 7-12. Our boarders live in comfortable rooms with access to email, and the Internet monitored by a content keeper. Nursing sisters, tutors, chaplains and Counsellors are among the fully qualified and highly experienced staff.

Most boarders at Canberra Grammar School enjoy their studies, take an active role in school life and become significant leaders within the School. The structured environment of the boarding houses helps boys to focus on their studies and develop sound study practices.

We monitor each boy’s learning through regular, supervised study periods and through individual tutoring. Boarders have access to the School’s Resource Centre for homework in the evenings and on weekends. Within the School and around Canberra the boys have a wonderful range of safe activities and recreational opportunities to choose from.
