AN ANGLICAN KINDERGARTEN–YEAR 12 DAY AND BOARDING SCHOOL FOR GIRLS SITUATED IN NORTH PARRAMATTA.

Tara is a Day and Boarding School for girls offering places for Day girls Kindergarten to Year 12, and Boarding places for Years 5 to 12. The School was established in 1897 and has a fine academic record and a strong emphasis on care and community. All students study Christian Studies K-12.

Tara girls are encouraged to participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities including Sport, Leadership, Young Achievers, Debating, Public Speaking, Crusaders, Duke of Edinburgh, Orchestra, Choirs, Overseas Exchange Program and Dance.

Our facilities include: Multi-Purpose Gymnasium, Lecture Theatre, Performance Areas, Swimming Pool, Music School, Sporting Fields, Netball and Tennis Courts, Science, Design and Technology Block and Art Studios.

Tara staff includes excellent teachers, a Chaplain, Counsellor, Careers Adviser, School Nurse and Year Coordinators. Within the Junior School we have Specialist teachers in Music, Art, Computing, Sport, Languages, Drama and Science.

Tara celebrated 110 years in 2007.
